The State Bank of India will soon publish the notification brochure for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2024) on its official website under the career section. Once released, aspirants can download the document from the website and review the eligibility criteria, important dates, selection process, and other pertinent details carefully.

To apply for the SBI PO 2024 position, candidates need to provide their personal and educational details, upload required documents, and pay the prescribed fee. Ensuring accuracy and completeness is crucial to prevent delays or issues during the selection process. It is highly recommended to apply early to avoid the last-minute rush.

Vacancy:-

The State Bank of India is expected to announce around 2,500 vacancies for the position of Probationary Officer (SBI PO 2024). Detailed reservation information for categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and EWS will be included in the official notification. Last year, there were a total of 2,000 vacancies, distributed as follows:

· General – 810

· Scheduled Caste – 300

· Scheduled Tribes – 150

· Other Backward Classes – 540

· Economically Weaker Section – 200

Eligibility Criteria:-

The eligibility criteria for SBI PO 2024 recruitment at various State Bank of India branches are detailed below in terms of educational qualifications and age limits.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by UGC/AICTE.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old. Age relaxation is available as follows: SC/ST candidates – 5 years, OBC (NCL) candidates – 3 years, PwBD candidates – varies by category, and Ex-Servicemen – 5 years.

To apply for the SBI PO 2024 exam, candidates from the General category must pay an application fee of ₹750. However, candidates from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, and Economically Weaker Sections are exempt from this fee. The payment can be made through any available payment gateway.

The SBI PO 2024 exam is anticipated to occur in the final quarter of 2024, usually in November or December. However, the precise exam date will be formally disclosed by the SBI upon the release of the notification. Mains:

· Mode: Online

· Duration: 3 hours for Objective, 30 minutes for Descriptive

· Sections (Objective): Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language

· Total Questions (Objective): 155

· Total Marks (Objective): 200

· Sections (Descriptive): Letter Writing & Essay
