Central Railway Recruitment 2023: Job Vacancies for 2422 Posts

Central Railway provides training in trade or business with a view to employment in government service. The apprentices will get a stipend, medical care, privilege passes, PTOs, etc. Once they complete their training successfully, they will be transferred to a higher-level leadership program in the railway organization. 

Central Railway accepts online applications from candidates in the jurisdiction of central railway against 2422 posts. This is an excellent opportunity for 10th or 12th-passed-out candidates. Candidates can submit their applications online on or before 15.01.2023 before 5 PM on the official website rrccr.com.  

The application link has been active since 15.12.2022. Candidates filling out their applications should be between 15 to 23 years. Applicants must pay an application fee of Rs.100. The application fee is non-refundable. The fee payment can be made through their online portal. 

Payment can be made through various modes like debit card, credit card, internet banking, or SBI challan. Visit their official website for further information about payment methods.

Qualifications Required 

The candidate should have passed the 10th or 12th examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board or provisional certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

  2. SSC or its equivalent mark sheet

  3. Certificate for Date of Birth Proof (Candidates can include a school leaving certificate or 10th mark sheet indicating their date of birth)

  4. Disability Certificate for PwBD candidate

  5. Caste certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates

  6. Consolidated mark sheet of all the semesters of the trade in which it has been applied

  7. National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT

  8. Discharge certificate or Serving certificate for candidates who applied against ex-servicemen quota

Candidates should upload all the documents in the correct format. If the documents uploaded are not in the proper format during the verification process, then the application of that candidate will be canceled. The decision is final in this regard. 

Training Period and Stipend

The training period is one year, and the stipend will be Rs.7000 per month.

  • Go to their homepage.

  • Under apprentice posts, click on "Click here to apply online."

  • Carefully fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents. 

  • Once you have filled out the form, pay the fee and submit the form.

  • Download the form and save it in your system or somewhere. You can also take out a printout for future reference. 

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the merit list prepared by all the candidates who apply for the position. The merit list will be prepared by calculating the percentage of marks (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) in matriculation + ITI marks, where the trade apprenticeship will be done.

The panel will be done based on average marks in Matriculation and ITI. After shortlisting the candidates based on their 10th and ITI marks, document verification, and medical examination will be done.
