The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is currently accepting
applications from suitably qualified Indian citizens for the positions of Joint
Director (Examination Reforms), Joint Director (Research & Analysis),
Deputy Director (Research & Analysis), Deputy Director (Electronic Data
Processing), and Finance & Budget Officer (Finance & Budget Officer).
According to the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the appointment
will be made on a deputation basis initially for three years, with the ability
to extend for a period not to exceed seven years. There are six spots open.

The eligibility requirements for SSC Recruitment 2023 are

1. Joint Director (Examination Reforms)
Officers employed by the Central Government, State
Governments, Union Territories, Universities, Recognised Research Institutions,
and Autonomous Organisations who hold equivalent positions regularly or who
have five or ten years of regular service in Level-11 or equivalent positions.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree from an accredited
institution, or an equivalent degree. Candidates must have eight years of
teaching or research experience connected to exam reform, question bank
development, or other activity involving exams.
2. Joint Director (Research & Analysis)
Candidates must be officers of the Central or State
government, the Union territories, the public sector, recognized research
institutions, universities, semi-government, statutory, or autonomous
organizations holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre or
department, or they must have five years of service in the grade rendered after
appointment to those posts regularly in Level-11 or an equivalent grade in the
parent cadre or department.
Candidates must possess an equivalent or recognized Master's
degree from an accredited university or institute. or an engineering degree
from a reputable university, institute, or other equivalent. Candidates must
have ten years of research, teaching, or practical experience, as well as
expertise in areas such as educational measurement or evaluation, examination
reforms, statistical analysis of examination data, the creation of
instructional materials, the development of aptitude tests, and related fields.
3. Deputy Director (Research & Analysis)
Candidates must be officers in the Central Government
holding Level-11 or similar positions, or Level-9/Level-6 positions with 5 or
more years of service. A master's degree in economics, statistics, or
mathematics from an accredited university, or an equivalent, is required of
candidates. Candidates must have five years of supervisory experience in
socioeconomic research, work-study, data analysis, or interpretation (the
length of a deputation is often no more than three years).
4. (Electronic Data Processing) Deputy Director
Candidates must be officers in the Central Government, State
Governments, Universities, Recognised Research Institutions, Public Sector
Undertakings, Statutory, Semi-Governmental, or Autonomous Organisations holding
analogous posts regularly; or with five years of regular service in Level-9 or
equivalent posts; or with eight years of regular service in Level-6 or
equivalent posts.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited
university in statistics-related fields such as operations research, physics,
economics, or commerce, or an equivalent degree. Candidates must have a minimum
of 7 years of expertise in the field of electronic data processing, of which at
least 3 years should be spent programming computers.
5. Officer of Finance and Budget (Officer of Finance and
Budget)
Candidates must be organized officers in the central
government's accounts department. holding comparable positions regularly,
having two years of regular service in Level 7 or equivalent positions, or
having five years of regular service in Level 6 or corresponding positions.

SSC Recruitment 2023 tenure:
According to the official
notification for the SSC Recruitment 2023, the appointment would be made on a
