CUET UG 2024 -RETEST TO BE HELD ON 19TH JULY ...ADMIT CARDS EXPECTED TO RELEASE SOON

NTA Announces CUET (UG) 2024 Retest for Affected Candidates Admit cards to be released on official website :-https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a retest for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET-UG) 2024, scheduled for July 19, 2024. This decision comes in response to grievances and complaints received from candidates who faced issues during the initial examination dates in May.

 Overview of the Initial Examination

The CUET-UG 2024 was conducted in a hybrid mode, combining computer-based tests (CBT) and pen & paper tests. The exams were held on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 across 379 cities, including 26 international locations. Approximately 1.348 million candidates participated in the examination, aiming to secure admission to undergraduate courses in 261 central, state, deemed, and private universities.

Grievances and Complaints

Following the initial exams, the NTA invited candidates to submit their challenges and grievances from July 7 to July 9, 2024. These submissions were meticulously reviewed by subject experts. Additionally, grievances received by June 30, 2024, and complaints sent to rescuetug@nta.ac.in between July 7 and July 9, 2024, were also taken into consideration.

Based on the feedback from the subject experts and the review of the complaints, the NTA decided to conduct a retest for the affected candidates. This retest is scheduled for July 19, 2024, and will be conducted exclusively in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode to ensure a standardized and controlled testing environment.

 Notification and Admit Cards

Affected candidates have been notified via email, specifying their subject codes and providing detailed instructions for the retest. Admit cards for these candidates will be issued soon. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official CUET-UG 2024 website ( https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ ) using their application number and date of birth.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions on the admit card and in the Information Bulletin. These instructions include subject-specific guidelines and other important information that candidates need to follow during the examination.

In case any candidate encounters difficulty in downloading the admit card, they can contact the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700. Alternatively, they can send an email to cuet-ug@nta.ac.in for assistance.
