GATE 2023 Admit Card Released: When and Where to Download the Admit Card
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, has released the GATE 2023 Admit Card on its official website. (gate.iitk.ac.in) Candidates who have applied for the exam can download their hall ticket from the website by entering their credentials.
The admit card was
supposed to be released on January 3, 2023. But it got delayed due to
operational reasons. As per the official notification, the GATE exams will be
conducted on February 4, 5, 11, and 12. Candidates' responses will be available
in the application portal on February 15.
On February 21,
2023, the answer key will be released, and the answer key's challenges can be
submitted from February 22 to 25. The result will be released on March 16,
2023, and candidates can download their scorecard on March 31, 2023.
The exam is
conducted every year on a rotational basis by seven IITs (IIT Delhi, IIT
Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee)
and IISC Bangalore. This year GATE exam 2023 will be conducted by IIT
Kanpur.
Steps to Download the GATE 2023 Admit Card
- Open the web browser of your choice and visit the
official website of IIT Kanpur. (gate.iitk.ac.in)
- Click
on Admit Card link.
- Enter your
enrollment id and password.
- Download
the admit card and take a printout for writing the exam.
NOTE: Soft copies are not allowed inside the examination
hall. Candidates should have the printout of their admit card.
GATE (Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam is conducted in India to offer Masters's
programs for students in Engineering and jobs in public sector companies. IIT
Kanpur has released the official notification of GATE 2023 on its website,
which consists of the application form, admit card release date, GATE 2023 exam
schedule, result date, and so on.
GATE 2023 exam is
conducted across 200 cities in the country and will be held in 2 shifts each
exam day. The timings for the morning shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The timings for the afternoon shift will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Candidates are
expected to enter the exam hall 30 minutes from the commencement of the exam.
However, if they are late, they can still log in 30 minutes after the
commencement of the exam. But they will not get any extra time.
Admit card alone
will not be sufficient for attending the exam. Candidates should also bring
their original and valid photo identity document which they have specified in
the application form. For Indian candidates, they can either show their Aadhaar
card, PAN card, driving license, Voter ID, and Passport. For foreign
candidates, they can either show their Passport, driving license, or any other
ID issued by their government.
