IBPS Clerk 2024 Registration Started

The IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024 official notice was published on 30th June 2024 to recruit 6128 clerical posts in 11 public sector Banks. The online registration process was started on 1st July 2024, those interested candidates can now apply for the post on the official website of IBPS until 21st July.

The Institute of Banking Selection conducts the IBPS Clerk exam yearly for the clerical post vacancy in 11 public sector Banks. This exam is conducted on levels of preliminary exam and the main, candidates who qualified the both exams are selected for the allocated bank.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Online Application Process

Note the necessary documents required for the IBPS Clerk 2024 online application, which are mentioned below

  • Photograph and Signature scanned in the prescribed size
  • A valid Email ID
  • Personal bank details for online transaction
  • Left thumb impression (LTI)
  • IBPS Clerk hand-written declaration

  • Register yourself by selecting the ‘New Registration’ link

  • The registration number and password will be received in your provided email and mobile number

IBPS Clerk 2024 Vacancies

The total number of vacancies for the IBPS Clerk 2024 clerical post is 6128, which is the highest as compared to the last 2 years that have been announced by IBPS along with the official notification pdf on 1st July 2024. This year maximum vacancies have been released for Uttar Pradesh State with 1246 total vacancies followed by Tamil Nadu with 665 vacancies.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, intending to apply for CRP Clerks-XIV should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS. Qualifying in the CRP and being provisionally allotted to a Participating Bank does not guarantee employment. The Participating Bank has the final authority to decide on recruitment and may reject any candidate at its discretion.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Age Limit- Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age, born no earlier than July 2, 1996, and no later than July 1, 2004. Upper age limit relaxations are available for specific categories, detailed as follows:

IBPS Clerk 2024 Educational Qualifications-

Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. They must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate confirming their graduate status on the day of registration. Additionally, candidates need to indicate the percentage of marks obtained in their graduation while registering online.

Computer literacy is a mandatory requirement for IBPS Clerk 2024 applicants. Candidates should have operating and working knowledge of computer systems, evidenced by a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or languages. Alternatively, they must have studied computer science or information technology as a subject in high school, college, or an institute.

Proficiency in the official language of the State or Union Territory (UT) for which the candidate applies is preferable. This proficiency includes the ability to read, write, and speak the official language of the respective State or UT.

Nationality / Citizenship for IBPS Clerk 2024:

  • A candidate must be one of the following:
  • A Citizen of India.
  • A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently.
  •  A Person of Indian Origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries, intending to settle permanently in India.

Candidates from categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
