IBPS Clerk 2024 Registration Started
The IBPS Clerk
Recruitment 2024 official notice was published on 30th June 2024 to recruit
6128 clerical posts in 11 public sector Banks. The online registration process was
started on 1st July 2024, those interested candidates can now apply
for the post on the official website of IBPS until 21st July.
The Institute of
Banking Selection conducts the IBPS Clerk exam yearly for the clerical post
vacancy in 11 public sector Banks. This exam is conducted on levels of preliminary
exam and the main, candidates who qualified the both exams are selected for the
allocated bank.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Vacancies
The total number of
vacancies for the IBPS Clerk 2024 clerical post is 6128, which is the highest
as compared to the last 2 years that have been announced by IBPS along with the
official notification pdf on 1st July 2024. This year maximum vacancies have been released for
Uttar Pradesh State with 1246 total vacancies followed by Tamil Nadu with 665
vacancies.
IBPS Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates, intending
to apply for CRP Clerks-XIV should ensure that they fulfil the minimum
eligibility criteria specified by IBPS. Qualifying in the CRP and being provisionally allotted
to a Participating Bank does not guarantee employment. The Participating Bank
has the final authority to decide on recruitment and may reject any candidate
at its discretion.

Age Limit- Candidates must be
between 20 and 28 years of age, born no earlier than July 2, 1996, and no later
than July 1, 2004. Upper age limit relaxations are available for specific

IBPS Clerk 2024 Educational Qualifications-
Candidates must hold
a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the
Government of India. They must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate
confirming their graduate status on the day of registration. Additionally,
candidates need to indicate the percentage of marks obtained in their
graduation while registering online.
Computer literacy is
a mandatory requirement for IBPS Clerk 2024 applicants. Candidates should have
operating and working knowledge of computer systems, evidenced by a
certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or languages.
Alternatively, they must have studied computer science or information
technology as a subject in high school, college, or an institute.
Proficiency in the
official language of the State or Union Territory (UT) for which the candidate
applies is preferable. This proficiency includes the ability to read, write,
and speak the official language of the respective State or UT.
Nationality / Citizenship for IBPS Clerk 2024:
- A candidate must be one of the following:
- A Citizen of India.
- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently.
- A Person of Indian Origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries, intending to settle permanently in India.
Candidates from
categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must have a certificate of eligibility
issued by the Government of India.
