IIT JAM 2025: The application for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will close on Friday, October 11, 2024. The exam is scheduled for February 2, 2025, and is divided into two sessions. The IIT JAM  is conducted annually to select candidates for around 3,000 postgraduate seats in various programs offered by prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science, and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur. The programs include MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree.

In the upcoming year, IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted by IIT Delhi. Previously, JAM 2022 was organized by IIT Madras, and JAM 2023 was conducted by IIT Guwahati. The IIT JAM takes place in two sessions, the morning session will include exams for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA), while the afternoon session will feature papers on Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), and Mathematical Statistics (MS).

IIT JAM 2025: Registration process

• Go to the official website of IIT JAM at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
• Click on the IIT JAM 2025 Exam registration link available on the home page.
• Fill up the registration process and submit.
• Complete the application form and submit the application fee payment.
• Then submit and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Documents Required for Application:

Applicants are required to upload several documents during the registration process, including:

• -A signature
• -A passport-sized photograph (3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height).
• -Class 10 mark sheet or certificate.
• -Valid category or disability certificate (for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
• -Candidates must ensure that category certificates are issued by authorized officials to be considered valid.

IIT JAM 2025: Schedule

IIT JAM 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed or will be appearing for their qualifying degree’s final exam in 2025 are eligible to take the JAM 2025. For admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

(a) Complete all coursework before the admission date set by the admitting institute.

(b) Submit proof of passing the qualifying degree within the given timeframe and meet the eligibility criteria specified by the admitting institute.

The IIT JAM 2025 consists of seven computer-based test papers covering mathematics, statistics, physics, biotechnology, chemistry, economics, and geology. The test will be held in approximately 100 cities across India. Admission will be based on seat availability, the Government of India’s reservation policy, and the All-India Rank (AIR) in each of the test papers.
