IIT Delhi Commences IIT JAM 2025 Registration: Apply Now at joaps.iitd.ac.in Until October 11

 The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has officially opened the online registration and application process for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025. Aspiring candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate programs at participating IITs and other institutes can now apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal, available at joaps.iitd.ac.in. The registration window will remain open until October 11, 2024.

Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the JAM 2025 exam, scheduled for February 2, 2025. The process requires a valid email ID and mobile number, along with the necessary documents, which must be scanned and uploaded during the application. Applicants should also have their banking details on hand for the payment of the application fee.

Key Dates and Application Process for the JAM 2025 Examination 

-The registration period for IIT JAM 2025 starts on September 3, 2024, and will conclude on October 11, 2024.

-Candidates will have the opportunity to make changes to their examination city, test paper, category, or gender by November 30, 2024. \

-Those requiring compensatory time or scribe assistance must confirm their needs by December 30, 2024.

-Additionally, the deadline for uploading a valid OBC-NCL certificate is November 20, 2024.

Admit cards will be released in early January 2025.

The application process is fully online. Prospective students must first register on the JOAPS portal by providing their email ID and other required details. Upon successful registration, an enrollment ID and password will be generated, allowing candidates to log in and complete the application form. This includes entering personal and academic information, uploading necessary documents, and paying the application fee.

Application Fee Structure:

The application fee varies depending on the number of test papers chosen and the candidate's category. The fee structure is as follows:

For Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates: Rs. 900 for one test paper; Rs. 1,250 for two test papers.

For all other candidates: Rs. 1,800 for one test paper; Rs. 2,500 for two test papers.

Payment must be made online during the application process.

Documents Required for Application:

Applicants are required to upload several documents during the registration process, including:

-A signature

-A passport-sized photograph (3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height).

-Class 10 mark sheet or certificate.

-Valid category or disability certificate (for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD candidates).

-Candidates must ensure that category certificates are issued by authorized officials to be considered valid.
