MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 2 Seat Allotment Results out
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to release the NEET UG 2024 Round 2 seat allotment results out on September 19, 2024. Candidates who participated in the second round of the NEET UG 2024 counselling process can check and download their allotment results from the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, using their login credentials, which include the NEET UG roll number and date of birth.
This seat allotment result is critical for admissions to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges, as well as 100% of seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutions. The MCC had previously delayed the result release but is now on track to announce the allotments today.
New Seats Added to Round 2
The MCC also announced a revision in the counselling schedule for Round 2 to accommodate new seats. An official notice stated that the competent authorities extended the schedule following the issuance of fresh Letters of Permission (LoPs) by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Steps to Check NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment Results
Candidates can follow these simple steps to check their results:
-Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
-On the homepage, navigate to the 'UG Medical' section.
-Click on the 'Seat Allotment Result' link.
-Enter your NEET UG roll number and password on the redirected page.
-View and download the seat allotment result for future reference.
-It is advisable to take a printout of the result for further use during college reporting.
-Reporting to the Allotted Colleges
Following the seat allotment, candidates must report to their designated institutions between September 20 and September 27, 2024.
At the time of reporting, candidates should carry the following essential documents:
-NEET UG admit card and scorecard
-Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
-Migration certificate
-Seat allotment letter issued by MCC
-Caste certificate (if applicable)
-Domicile certificate
-Valid, government-issued photo ID proof
-Eight passport-size photographs (same as affixed on the application)
-Disability certificate (if applicable)
-NRI candidates must provide additional documents including a sponsor's passport copy, an embassy certificate, a sponsorship affidavit, and a relationship affidavit detailing their connection to the sponsor.
Future Counselling Rounds
As the seat allotment for Round 2 concludes, the MCC will soon announce the revised schedule for subsequent rounds of counselling. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for further updates and to ensure they meet all deadlines for reporting and document submission.
