NEET PG 2024: Exam City Intimation Slips Sent to Registered Email IDs Today

Candidates gearing up for the NEET PG 2024 exam, scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024, will receive their exam city intimation slips today, July 29, 2024. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that these slips will be sent to the candidates’ registered email IDs, informing them of their allotted exam cities. This early notification aims to give candidates ample time to make necessary travel arrangements and ensure they reach their respective centers smoothly on the exam day.

According to the official notification released by NBEMS, candidates will receive an email containing the details of their allotted exam city. However, specific details regarding the exam center, including the address, will be available only on the NEET PG 2024 admit card. These admit cards are slated to be released on August 8, 2024. Candidates must download and print their admit cards to carry along on the exam day.

 Check Exam City Details:

Check Your Email:  Ensure you have access to the registered email ID where the intimation slip will be sent.

- Visit Official Websites: Candidates can also keep an eye on the official NEET PG website ([www.nbe.edu.in](https://www.nbe.edu.in/) or [natboard.edu.in](https://natboard.edu.in/)) for any updates regarding the intimation slip.

Contact Support if Necessary: If you haven’t received the email by the end of the day, consider reaching out to the NBEMS support for clarification.

NBEMS allocates exam cities to candidates based on the preferences they selected during the application process. A total of 185 cities across India have been designated as examination centers. Candidates were given the option to choose four preferred cities when submitting their applications. In scenarios where a candidate’s preferences could not be accommodated—either due to a shortage of centers in a particular state or excess demand exceeding available capacity—NBEMS provides alternative options from nearby states. This flexibility ensures that every candidate has a fair chance to take the exam at a convenient location.

Below are some of the key guidelines:

Exam Date: NEET PG exams will be conducted on August 11, 2024.

Reporting Time: Candidates must arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled start time. This ensures sufficient time for entry and security checks, reducing stress for candidates as they settle in.

Admit Card and ID Proof: It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their NEET PG admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) to gain entry into the examination hall. Candidates without these documents will not be permitted to sit for the exam.

Conduct During the Exam: Students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam concludes. This rule is strictly enforced to maintain the integrity of the examination process and ensure that all candidates have an equal opportunity to complete their papers.

- No Late Entry: NBEMS has a strict policy against late entries. Candidates who arrive after the gates have closed will not be allowed into the exam center under any circumstances. Thus, punctuality is crucial.

Exam Pattern and Preparation Tips

The NEET PG 2024 exam will assess candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the medical curriculum through a single entrance examination. Here’s a brief overview of what candidates can expect:

Exam Format: The examination will be conducted in a computer-based test format, consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Subjects Covered: The questions will cover subjects taught during the MBBS course, testing both clinical and non-clinical knowledge.

- Time Management: Candidates should practice managing their time effectively to attempt all questions within the allotted time. Mock tests can be an excellent way to build this skill.

- Last-Minute Revision:  Focus on revising important topics and high-yield areas. Avoid starting new topics in the days leading up to the exam to prevent confusion and stress.

Stay Updated: Regularly visit the official NBEMS website and check your email for any last-minute updates or instructions regarding the examination.

With the NEET PG 2024 exam date approaching, candidates are urged to stay vigilant and check their registered email IDs for the exam city intimation slips. As the competition intensifies, timely preparation and adherence to exam day protocols will be crucial for candidates aspiring to secure a seat in postgraduate medical programs.

For further details and updates, candidates are encouraged to visit the official NBEMS website [ https://natboard.edu.in/  ](https://natboard.edu.in/) and stay connected to their email accounts for the latest information.
