NEET-UG 2024 Hazaribagh paper leak: CBI released detailed report
NEET-UG: The CBI said in a statement regarding its
investigation into the NEET paper leak that Pankaj Kumar, the
"mastermind," conspired with the vice principal and the principal of
Oasis School in Hazaribagh to get them solved and send them to their customers
hours before the test on May 5.
According to the CBI, Pankaj Kumar planned with Vice
Principal Imtiaz Alam, the centre superintendent, and Principal Ehsanul Haque,
who was also the NTA city coordinator, at Oasis School. On May 5, the school
received trunks holding the NEET-UG 2024 exam papers, which were stored in the
control room. Ehsanul Haque and Imtiaz Alam illegally and unauthorisedly gave
Pankaj Kumar entry to the room where the trunks were kept a few minutes after
they arrived.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is looking into
applicants who get the NEET-UG 2024 test question solution. The people involved
are MBBS students from renowned colleges, and they have been taken into custody. Concerning the case, the CBI has carried out searches at 33 sites and taken 36
persons into custody, including 15 members of the Bihar Police. The investigation is still ongoing, even though they have gathered several pieces of evidence.

The CBI said in a statement regarding its investigation into the NEET paper
leak that Pankaj Kumar, the "mastermind," conspired with the vice
principal and the principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh to obtain the
question paper few hours before the exam's May 5 start.
Pankaj
Kumar allegedly acted with the consent of Vice Principal Imtiaz Alam, the centre
superintendent, and principal, Ehsanul Haque of Oasis School, who was also the
NTA city coordinator, according to the CBI.
On
May 5, the school received trunks holding the NEET-UG 2024 exam papers, which
were stored in the control room.
Ehsanul
Haque and Imtiaz Alam illegally and unauthorisedly gave Pankaj Kumar entry to
the room where the trunks were kept a few minutes after they arrived.
Subsequently, Pankaj Kumar gained access to the question papers by opening the
trunks using advanced methods. As of late, the trunks have been seized.
After
that, on the morning of the test, a group of solvers from MBBS programs at
AIIMS Patna, RIMS Ranchi, and a medical college in Bharatpur worked in
Hazaribagh to solve the pilfered paper.
A
few chosen students who gave money to the accused were given access to the
solved paper. Most of the MBBS students who are the solvers have been detained
after they were all identified as coming from reputable colleges. The CBI
spokesperson claimed that these investigators were specifically sent to
Hazaribagh as part of the plot.
The CBI has taken seven supposed solvers into custody. Several
masterminds and gang members who collaborated with Kumar have been discovered,
with a number of them facing arrest.
According
to the CBI, steps are being taken to identify and track down the candidates who
were able to access the solved question paper.
