NEET UG 2024 Result Live: NTA to Announce City and Centre-Wise Results by July 20

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the NEET UG 2024 results by 12 noon on July 20. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official NTA NEET websites at [exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/]( https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ ) and [ neet.ntaonline.in ]( https://neet.ntaonline.in ).

On Thursday, July 18, the Supreme Court of India ordered the NTA to announce the NEET UG 2024 results by the specified deadline. The court emphasized that the results should be published on the website with the students' identities masked, ensuring privacy.

The bench, comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, instructed the NTA to publish the NEET UG results separately, city-wise and centre-wise, by noon on July 20.

The NTA conducted the NEET UG 2024 examination this year on May 5 across 4,750 centers nationwide. The initial results were announced on June 4, 2024. Due to some irregularities, a re-examination was held on June 23 for the affected candidates, with the results of the re-exam announced on https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ . This year, approximately 24 lakh candidates appeared for the main examination, while 1,563 candidates took the re-examination.

Candidates awaiting their results should visit the NTA NEET websites on July 20 to check their scores. The Supreme Court's directive aims to ensure transparency and fairness in the result publication process.

The next hearing for NEET UG 2024 is scheduled for July 22,2024.
