NTA Exam Calendar: In order to notify candidates of the dates of the upcoming entrance exam editions, the National Testing Agency (NTA) publishes an examination calendar on its official website each year. The dates for the 2024 Examinations were notified on September 19, 2023.

The NTA releases Exam schedules of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG), Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for UG and PG and the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on their official website at https://www.nta.ac.in/.

As for the tentative result dates, candidates will be informed by the NTA exam calendar 2025–2026. The testing organisation stated in its previous calendar that full exam details would be provided in the corresponding information bulletins, which would be released when the registration process officially began.

To gain admission to undergraduate programs offered by National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other participating technical education institutions, JEE Main is conducted in two phases. Each and every medical college in the nation offers NEET as a prerequisite for undergraduate medical education.

University Grants Commission (UGC) Net is used to assess Indian nationals' eligibility for Assistant Professor, JRF, and PhD admissions; Central Universities and other participating institutions use CUET UG and PG for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.

There were a lot of controversy surrounding the agency's entrance exams in 2024. The government announced the cancellation of the UGC NET June exam one day after it was scheduled, citing potential compromises to the test's integrity. During the retest, the agency decided to stick with the previous procedure of administering the exam in CBT (computer-based test) mode over a number of days and shifts, abandoning the hybrid approach (online and offline exam) used for the June edition.
