About Sania Mirza
Sania Mirza was born in a small village named
Jasovar in Uttar Pradesh. She completed high school at Pandit Chintamani Dubey
Inter College in her village. Afterward, she went to Guru Nanak Girls Inter
College in her village for class 12th. She topped her 12th UP board
examinations and started to prepare for the NDA exams. She began her
preparations at Centurion Defence Academy.
Though she studied in a Hindi medium school, she
broke the myth that only those with a good English language command can clear
competitive examinations. She said students from Hindi Medium can also achieve
success if they are determined in their goals.
Many of them feel that without knowing English,
they can't achieve any success. But English is just a language. Knowledge only
helps you in the long run. She has proved this and inspired many young women.
She considers Avni Chaturvedi as her role model, one of the country's first
three women combat pilots.
Sonia's father, Shahid Ali, is a television
mechanic, and her mother, Tabassum Mirza, is a homemaker. Her mother said her
daughter has made the entire village proud. She has fulfilled her dream of
becoming the first fighter pilot. She has inspired every girl and woman in the
village to follow her dreams. Her story is really an inspiration for every
woman who wants to achieve their dreams in every field they want. As per the
official reports, she joined NDA Khadakwasla in Pune on December 27.
The NDA exam is conducted twice yearly to select
candidates for admission to Army, Air Force Wings, Navy, and Indian Naval
Academy courses. Unlike the other competitive exams, the NDA exam is considered
tough as it has a vast amount of syllabus, group discussions, extensive written
exams, medical checks, physical tests, mental tests, and interviews.
NDA also offers stipends to the students during
the training session. Students can get up to Rs.56,100 per month. This year,
the NDA 2023 exam will be conducted on April 16, 2023. Candidates who wish to
