SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2024: All hall tickets are out
The Staff
Selection Commission (SSC) has published the admit cards for the SSC
CGL 2024 Tier 1 examination. The application process for the all 9 region
has been started, interested candidates for Combined Graduate Level Examination
Tier-I (CGL) 2024 are able to participate.
Waited last
3 regions hall tickets are out for Northern, Eastern region and Karnataka
Kerala.
Candidates,
those who participated in the SSC CGL 2024 examination can
download their hall tickets through the official websites of their respective
SSC Regional Office. Candidates from regions where admit cards are not yet
issued are advised to wait a few days for the publication of their admit cards.
The SSC CGL
2024 Tier 1 examination is set to take place from September 9 to September 26.
This year a combined 17,727 vacancies are posted by SSC for Group C and
Group B categories.
The exam
comprises 100 multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence and
Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
Each section consists of 25 questions with a maximum of 50 marks. For every
incorrect answer, there would be a minus 0.50 mark.
SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1: Admit card Download Process
Step 1: Go
to your SSC Regional website as per your residing state.
Step 2: On
the homepage, Click on the “SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Admit Card link” This will
transfer you to the login page.
Step 3:
Give in your login credentials and click on submit.
Step 4:
Then you will get your SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Admit Card.
Step 5:
Then download and get a printout of it for future reference.

SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1: Details provided on Admit Card
Applicants
must thoroughly verify the details on their IDs, such as their full name, date
of birth, gender, signature, photograph, roll number, category, examination
center address, exam time, and reporting time. It's essential to ensure that
all this information is accurate and matches the details provided during the
application process.
Students
are required to present their hall ticket IDs at the examination center in
order to sit for the exam. Those who do not come up with their admit card to
the exam hall will not be allowed to take the exam.

SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1: Cut Off
After the
completion of the SSC CGL examination, commission will release
the SSC CGL cut-off marks categorized by different groups.
Candidates who score equal to or higher than the specified cut-off marks will
be selected for the following rounds of the selection process. The
commission will release the list of qualified candidates and category-specific
qualifying grades along with the cut-off marks.

SSC CGL 2024: exam Pattern
Tier 1
Pattern:
The exam
will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will feature
multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and objective-type questions. The exam carries
a total of 200 marks and is to be completed within 1 hour. There will be 100
questions.
In total divided into four sections: General Awareness, General Intelligence
and Reasoning, General Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section
consists of 25 questions, contributing 50 marks per section, including negative
markings for incorrect answers.
Tier 2
Pattern:
Only those
candidates who qualify for Tier 1 will be eligible to proceed to Tier 2. Tier 2
consists of three papers, conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Paper
1 is mandatory for all posts, while Papers 2 and 3 are specifically for
auditors and statistics officers.

SSC CGL 2024: Preparation Tips
SSC CGL 2024 is going to be more challenging.
Therefore, a solid preparation plan is a must-have. Here are the steps to
follow:
Make a list of chapters you have practised well and the ones
you don’t have much grip on. After that, you can prioritize according to that.
Start preparing for chapters that are not clear first.
Practice previous years’ question papers. It will give you
an idea of the question types and what areas the exam board focuses on.
Once you are done with completing the syllabus you can start
taking mock tests, it will make you learn how to manage time and answer
