SSC CPO 2023 Admit Card Released For PET Exam: Check Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card for the PET exam for the post of sub-inspector in Delhi police and central armed forces. Candidates can download their admit cards on the official website of SSC. (www.ssc.nic.in)

The SSC CPO 2022 examination was held from November 9 to November 11. The result was declared on December 27, 2022. A total of 63945 male candidates and 4419 female candidates qualified for the CPO PET/ PST exam. 

According to the official notice, "Male candidates who have opted for the post of SI in Delhi police will have to carry a Driving License for LMV (MotorCycle & Car) during the PST/ PET, failing which their claim for the post of SI in Delhi Police will not be granted."

Steps to Download the SSC CPO Admit Card 2023

  • Open a web browser and visit the official website of SSC. (www.ssc.nic.in)
  • Click on the link "Click here to download e-admit card for PST/PET of sub-inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2022, to be held from 30/01/2023 to 04/02/2023 (updated on 25/01/2023)".
  • It will redirect you to another page.
  • Enter your registration number and password.
  • Your admit card will open on the screen.
  • Download the SSC CPO admit 2023 card and take a printout for future reference. 

Vacancy Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) aims to fill a total of 4300 posts of Sub-inspector (general duty), Sub-inspector (executive) female/ male in Delhi police and various central armed forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB) with this recruitment drive. 

Candidates should carry their admit cards on the day of the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card. With an admit card, they should also carry their ID proof.

SSC CPO Exam 2023 Selection Process

The selection process is based on the candidate's score and how well they performed on the further rounds. The candidate will be selected only if he/ she clears all five rounds. The stages are given below:

  • Paper 1 - Online test of the candidate
  • Physical Test (PET & PST) of the candidate
  • Paper 2 - Written test of the candidate
  • A medical exam of the candidate
  • Document verification of the candidate
  • Final selection of the candidate

SSC CPO Exam 2023 - Application Fee

General/ OBC category candidates should pay a fee of Rs. 100. SC/ ST/ Female/ Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who came to India before January 1, 1962, from Nepalese, Bhutanese, Indian, and Tibetan are eligible for the exam. 
  • Only Indian-origin candidates are eligible to apply for the exam. 
  • Candidates who migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and East African countries are also eligible for the exam. 
  • Candidates must have completed a degree from any recognized university in any stream.
