UGC NET 2024 Live: Day Two of Exam Underway, Admit Cards Released for Next Few Days

 The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the second day of the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for August 2024. Today’s examination is being held in two shifts, with the first session running from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. This year, the UGC NET is being administered in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, ensuring a smooth and efficient testing process for candidates across the country.

Admit Cards Released for August 21, 22, and 23 Exams

The NTA has already released admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear on August 21, 22, and 23. Those set to take the exam on these dates can now download their hall tickets from the official UGC NET website. Admit cards for the remaining exam days will be made available soon.

Visit the Official Website: Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Access Admit Card Link: Open the admit card download link corresponding to your exam day.

Enter Details: Input your application number and date of birth.

Submit: After submitting your details, download the UGC NET hall ticket.

Candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues. The admit card is a crucial document and must be carried to the examination center along with a valid photo ID.

In a recent announcement, the NTA informed candidates that the UGC NET exam initially scheduled for August 26 has been postponed to August 27 due to the Janmashtami celebrations. This rescheduling affects only the August 26 exam, and candidates scheduled for this date are advised to note the change and adjust their plans accordingly.

UGC NET August 2024: Exam Schedule

The UGC NET August 2024 session commenced on August 20 and will conclude on September 4. The exam is being conducted on multiple days across the country, allowing for a wide range of candidates to participate. Each day, the exam is held in two shifts, accommodating the large number of aspirants seeking to qualify for eligibility as Assistant Professors or for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).

Candidates who have appeared for the exams are now eagerly awaiting the release of the answer keys, which will be made available by the NTA a few days after the conclusion of the exams. Following the answer key release, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections before the final results are prepared and announced.
