UGC NET 2024 Results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the results of the National Eligibility Test (NET) re-examination by the University Grants Commission (UGC) soon.

Once the results are announced, candidates can check their results at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ using their application number and date of birth. Agency closes the extension window on September 14 to disagree with the preliminary key, and the results are expected.

NTA said subject experts will review the challenges made by candidates and if an objection is found valid, the final answer key will be accordingly revised.

The NTA shared provisional answer key of UGC NET in phases. The candidate was invited to disagree with the provisional response to the 200-rupee payment, as needed. The UGC net result is prepared using the final response key.

Open the UGC NET Scorecard link available on the home page.

Enter your application number and date of birth.

Submit your details and check your result.

Download your result and make a photocopy for future reference.

UGC NET 2024: Scoring Process

In cases where a question in the UGC NET exam is found to be incorrect or ambiguous, or where multiple correct answers exist, full marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted the question and selected one of the correct answers.

Additionally, if any question is dropped from the final answer key, candidates who attempted that question will receive two marks.

There is no negative marking in the UGC NET examination. Candidates receive two marks for every correct answer, allowing them to maximize their scores without the risk of losing points for incorrect responses.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates on the result announcement and the availability of the final answer key.

UGC NET 2024: Cut-offs

NTA will announce the cutoff for UGC NET on its official website. Candidates who score above the minimum pass mark in UGC NET will be eligible to proceed to the next stage.

The UGC NET 2024 Cut-offs should be located in the fork from 216 to 160 for all subjects and categories. For the subject of psychology, the threshold is estimated at around 200 for JRF and deputy professor and 190 for the assistant teacher. On January 19, 2024, the officials released the UGC NET Cut Off Result 2023 for the December cycle. A total of 9,45,872 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 6,95,928 candidates appeared for the exam. However, only 58,794 candidates were able to appear for the exam.
