UGC NET Result 2024: Results Expected Soon at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024 results in the coming days. Candidates are eagerly awaiting the outcome, which will be available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The provisional answer key challenge window, which allowed candidates to raise objections, closed on September 14. The release of the results is expected next, following the review of these objections by subject experts.

To check their results, candidates will need to enter their application number and date of birth on the NTA portal. Once the results are declared, candidates can also download the final answer key from the same website.

The provisional answer keys for UGC NET were released in multiple phases. Candidates had the opportunity to raise objections by paying a fee of ₹200 per question. Subject experts will now review these objections. If any are found to be valid, necessary revisions will be made to the final answer key, which will be released along with or shortly after the results. However, candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objections.

How to Check UGC NET Result 2024

Once the results are declared, candidates can follow these steps to check their scores:

-Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

-Find and open the UGC NET scorecard download link on the homepage.

-Enter your application number and date of birth.

-Submit the details and view your result.

-Download and print the scorecard for future reference.

In cases where a question in the UGC NET exam is found to be incorrect or ambiguous, or where multiple correct answers exist, full marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted the question and selected one of the correct answers. Additionally, if any question is dropped from the final answer key, candidates who attempted that question will receive two marks.

No Negative Marking

There is no negative marking in the UGC NET examination. Candidates receive two marks for every correct answer, allowing them to maximize their scores without the risk of losing points for incorrect responses.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates on the result announcement and the availability of the final answer key.
