UPPSC PCS 2023: Important Instructions for the Exam
Candidates must carefully study the following directions before taking the exam:
1. The Commission has not examined the qualifications or eligibility you claimed in your application. So, after reading the requirements and eligibility listed in the advertisement, be sure you're qualified and only show up for the test if you are. Your candidature will be withdrawn if you are determined to be ineligible/ineligible at any point after a Commission investigation.
2. All applicants must arrive at the testing location with two photos and an original and a photocopy of an ID (such as a driver's license, passport, pan card, voter identity card, or unique identification card "Aadhaar" issued by the central or state government). If so, they must be made available upon request. Please bring this admit card with you to the test; else, you risk being disqualified from taking the test.
3. Candidates are asked to bring their clipboard, blank hardboard or cardboard, and a ballpoint pen with black ink. No other ink should ever be used by the candidate besides black ink.
4. Candidates are not permitted to utilize or carry around their tables, graph sheets, maps, etc. Calculators, slide rules, and other devices are not permitted.
5. Candidates are not permitted to exchange any materials inside the test room.
6. Other items are carried, such as books, notes, paper, accessories, means of communication, mobile phones, pagers, or any other technological devices.
7. Other items brought, such as books, notes, paper, accessories, means of communication, mobile phones, pagers, or any other electronic equipment, etc., should be left by the candidate at the designated location outside the examination hall in addition to the items listed in the aforementioned paragraph 5(I). The commission shall not be liable if any object is lost, despite the fact that provisions will be made for the safekeeping of these things.
8. Whether or not the prescribed material has been used for copying, the candidate may be disqualified from the examination in question as well as future examinations and selections made by the Commission if he is found in possession of any materials intended for exam cheating.
9. During the last period of the exam, no candidate will be permitted to leave the room.
10. The candidate should check the question paper's serial number after getting it. Replace it if the contrary is found. Ask the invigilator to replace the damaged, ripped, or flawed question book.
11. No whitener, blade, rubber, etc. should be used to remove the information entered on the answer page. The candidate must give the examiner the original copy of the answer sheet after finishing the question paper. After the exam, the applicants are permitted to keep the question books.
12. One original copy and the copy belonging to the other candidate will be included on the OMR Answer Sheets. The candidates will give the invigilator the original copy of the OMR Answer sheets once the test is finished, and he will keep their copy for himself.
13. Carefully fill out every field on the OMR (Answer Sheet) and the attendance list with the candidate's photo; if a mistake is made, the candidate is solely liable.
